Christine 0.9.1
No Comments Some of the early users have pointed out a couple issues that needed to be addressed so we have pushed out a new version of the Christine theme. Rather than duplicate the instructions again we’ll just upload the new version onto the Christine page.
Fixes
- Check for a function (automatic_feed_links) that is only available in WordPress 2.8 or later so the theme will now work on WordPress 2.7
- Home page now parses plugin codes
- Image attachment page no longer shows the blog sidebars or title. It just shows the image.

WordPress 2.8.3 Security Release
No Comments If you’re running WordPress 2.8 you’ve probably noticed the little yellow bar across the top that says WordPress 2.8.3 is available. It looks like it’s a security fix for some privilege issues, although the WordPress blog doesn’t go into too much depth. Of course, as a security release it’s important to upgrade.
Christine Theme
10 Comments Christine is a theme for WordPress users that don’t want their page to look like a blog. Using a series of plugins Christine allows you to build your site using pages and easily include them in a menu.
That’s not to say you can’t blog with Christine. There is a spot for that as well still wrapped in the same design. And the blog pages are widget ready with 4 separate sidebars covering the right sidebar and a 3 column footer.

Welcome to Reliti.com
No Comments It seems the first blog post is always the hardest. You have to try and sum up why the world needs another blog. And there’s no way to do that that sounds valid. So you sit and stare at the screen trying to make your blog sound different from every other one out there.
Well, I’m not going to try. I’ll just tell the story of why this site got put up here. It’s not necessarily any better or worse than any other blog, but it’s here anyway.
A couple of years ago I bought this domain name. The intent was to write a CMS program in PHP that was easier to use than most of the other CMS packages I tried out. A couple years later and there are probably about 500 lines of code towards that goal.
As most anyone who has tried writing their own full web application knows the process of writing database queries, validating users, and dealing with server security issues is incredibly tedious. Enter WordPress. They’ve already written all of the boring stuff and in such a way that it’s easy to customize. So rather than spend time writing a backend that would likely never be as good as what’s already there I decided to design themes instead.
If you’re reading this within a few days of it being posted you will probably notice that there aren’t any themes here yet. I’m working on it. My first one is just about finished. I’ve just got to go through the theme checklist at WordPress.org to make sure it does what it’s supposed to.
